Radical Regionalism: Local Knowledge and Making Places

Abstract

An international cross-cultural project resulting in an exhibition and publication, lead by Ihor Holubizky [Canada/Australia], featuring indigenous and non-indigenous artists, examining ways in which contemporary visual artists from Australia and Canada engage and generate regional voices in a global discussion encompassing identity, place and memory. My role was to provide consultancy advice on inclusion of australian artists, conduct research on Gordon Bennett [John Citizen] and contribute an essay on the work of Gordon Bennett.
