Abstract
Music technology students at Griffith University study sound recording and production. Graduate employment opportunities exist in wide range of creative industries which have a potential for wealth and job creation through individual creativity and the generation and exploitation of intellectual property. This paper examines a pilot work-integrated learning program in music technology and reveals common student intern work experiences, their significance for the local learning community and implications for the underpinning curricula.
