    Abstract
During 2012, a survey was administered to parents/guardians during an enrichment workshop at Griffith University. The survey provided a snapshot of perceptions of current gifted and enrichment programs in schools throughout Queensland, Australia. Findings suggest there were limited gifted and enrichment programs running in schools and parents had limited understanding of how students would be identified for workshops in schools. These results provide insight into the current provisions for gifted education in Queensland schools from the viewpoint of parents/guardians.During 2012, a survey was administered to parents/guardians during an enrichment workshop at Griffith University.
