    Abstract
    This is a 155 page document based on international research into innovation and best practice for the sustainable design of timber construction product as part of research at the Centre for Sustainable Architecture with Wood in the Architecture department of the University of Tasmania. The research includes recommendations on specification and changes in practice for the construction products industry of Australia. This work was funded by a competitive research grant of $146,000 from the Forest and Wood Products Association of Australia in conjunction with WADIC.This is a 155 page document based on international research into innovation and best practice for the sustainable design of timber construction product as part of research at the Centre for Sustainable Architecture with Wood in the Architecture department of the University of Tasmania.
