Choose your poison: Chiral CdTe quantum dots (QDs) coated with L- or D-glutathione (GSH) stabilizers exhibit differences in cytotoxicity although they have identical composition and size. D-GSH-QDs are less cytotoxic than L-GSH-QDs.
