Workplace bullying and violence is attracting increasing attention by researchers. Its causes are complex and multifaceted. This paper reports on research into the phenomenon in the aged care sector of Queensland, Australia. The research identifies the incidence and extent of its occurrence as well the relationship between managerial initiatives and how employees respond to bullying and workplace violence.
