Abstract

In accordance with the editorial brief of this reference work, this entry makes an original contribution to scholarship of both documentary and the Vietnam war film. It surveys the historical role played by international documentary during the war and afterwards, as a tool of persuasion, protest, historical analysis and personal recollection.
