    Abstract
Hierarchically mesoporous hematite microspheres composed of mesoporous nanoparticles with crystalline walls are successfully synthesized combining hierarchical self‐assembly and heat‐ treatment processes. They exhibit high specific surface areas and enhanced formaldehyde‐sensing properties.Hierarchically mesoporous hematite microspheres composed of mesoporous nanoparticles with crystalline walls are successfully synthesized combining hierarchical self‐assembly and heat‐ treatment processes.
