English at a Time of Change: Where Do We Go with Text?

Abstract

Role of literature and literary in English that responds to technology and students' immersion, in their out-of-school worlds is discussed. English provides a means for understanding the relation of an inner world of imagination and desire with an outer world of culture and of social demands and gives a basis for inclusion of right curriculum to be part of young people's education.
