    Abstract
Adventure is an industry, an attitude, an addiction, a behaviour, a therapy. Adoption of adventure differs between individuals, activities, and life stages. I propose that we could analyse trajectories through time, in the social, physical and mental contexts for individual adventure participation, a ‘leisure-lifepsychle’ approach.Adventure is an industry, an attitude, an addiction, a behaviour, a therapy. Adoption of adventure differs between individuals, activities, and life stages. I propose that we could analyse trajectories through time, in the social, physical and mental contexts for individual adventure participation, a ‘leisure-lifepsychle’ approach.
