Three new prenylated xanthones, named dulcisxanthone J (1), dulcisxanthone K (2), and dulcisxanthone L (3), along with 38 known compounds have been isolated from the stem bark of Garcinia dulcis. Their structures were elucidated mainly by analysis of 1D and 2D spectroscopic data. 12b-Hydroxy-des-D-garcigerrin A (12) and dulcisxanthone J (1) displayed moderate antibacterial activity against both penicillin-susceptible Staphylococcus aureus and methicillin-resistant S. aureus (MRSA) with minimum inhibitory concentration (MIC) values of 4 and 16 μg/mL, respectively.Three new prenylated xanthones, named dulcisxanthone J (1), dulcisxanthone K (2), and dulcisxanthone L (3), along with 38 known compounds have been isolated from the stem bark of Garcinia dulcis.
