Analytical, Synthetic Organic, and Medicinal Chemistry Approaches to Illicit Drug Intelligence

Within the forensic science community, analytical chemistry has by far been the predominant approach to drug intelligence, with drug profiling a mainstay research focus regarding illicit drugs. This thesis demonstrates that not only can analytical chemistry be used for illicit drug intelligence, but that organic synthetic and medicinal chemistry approaches can also be fruitful.
