The key aspects and features of applied theatre and the challenges that it poses for students, as they demand the development of competencies in a number of areas, including theatre facilitation and others are discussed. Learning is not just about Applied Theatre as a disciplinary area, but it is also about learning about the self - one's identify and capacity in social contexts.
