Mongard states that public spaces, which become great experiences start with inspirational ideas. This paper through a collection of case studies, argues that there is a need for creative thinkers who are commissioned to produce public art and objects for places, to engage locals in discussions that will ultimately result in outcomes, which connect to and reinforce the sense of place.
