The RAiLE© - an autonomous “Robotics/AI Legal Entity” - human, machine or something else under international law? Through our ongoing research we, the authors, have seen a growing need to look at the legal aspects of the interaction between two often separate areas of our human lives affected by the technological developments. These are the workplace and the family unit. The importance of this is accentuated by the growing diversification in the interaction between Robotics/AI entities and humans in daily life, where the new technological solutions are capable of multiple different roles in our society's daily life.
