Alongside her extensive teaching practice, she works in team collaborations with otolaryngologists and speech-language pathologists in the rehabilitation of injured voices. She is recognized both nationally and internationally as a leader in the field. She is Coordinator of Contemporary Voice and Head of Jazz Vocal Studies and Voice Pedagogy at the Queensland Conservatorium, Griffith University, Australia. To date, she is one of only two pedagogues to have received the prestigious award of Australian Master Teacher from the Australian National Association of Teachers of Singing (ANATS). Dr. Bartlett conducts clinics and master classes at universities and summer programs throughout Australia and New Zealand, and in 2017 will be presenting classes at prestigious music schools in the United States, United Kingdom, and Finland. She has dedicated her teaching career to producing vocally fit, self-motivated, industry ready, competent and knowledgeable singing voice performers and singing voice teachers. Reports from performance graduates with profiles of national and international success suggest that her teaching approach has contributed in some part to their outstanding national and international career achievements—most recently, Dami Im (Australian representative to Eurovision 2016; “X-Factor” winner 2014); Katie Noonan and Megan Washington (multi winners at the Australian Recording Industry Association [ARIA] Music Awards); Kristin Berardi (winner of the Montreaux Jazz Festival International Vocal Competition, the Australian National Jazz Award, and the Freedman Fellowship); Elly Hoyt and Kristin Berardi (Bell Awards - Best Australian Vocal Jazz Album). In addition to their performance successes, her graduate students continue to receive prestigious academic awards.
