Through growth to achievement is the most recent of a long succession of reviews into
education in Australia. Commissioned by the Australian Government, the Review Panel –
the second to be headed by David Gonski – was tasked with recommending ways that
Australia could improve student achievement and school performance (Gonski et al.,
