Abstract

This article relates the history and geography of Queensland's Channel Country, for both Aboriginal and non Aboriginal people, to discover something of the lived experience of place. It is a text based article illustrated with maps and photographs. It may in future have future editions with the addition of film, music etc. This article is one expression of my Braided Channels Creative Research project which has had film, oral history, social history exhibition and online database expressions.
