    Abstract
    We demonstrate the first unconditional violation of the shot noise limit in photonic NOON-state interferometry. Using ultrahigh-efficiency source and detectors we outperform ideal classical measurement without employing postselection, or correction for loss and imperfections.We demonstrate the first unconditional violation of the shot noise limit in photonic NOON-state interferometry.
