dc.description.abstract | Deciding who to trust and how far is a matter of judgement, and poor judgement may bring dire consequences. Even the most distrustful among us must, given our inescapable interdependency, trust someone, making the danger of betrayal omnipresent. This makes trust and distrust eminently worth studying, certainly in our personal lives, but even more so in the affairs of nations where serious misjudgements can imperil the lives of millions. | |
