dc.description.abstractAfter the acclaimed Mabo decision, First Australian Michael Mansell identified the development as a Trojan horse for his People with the catch-phrase ‘The Court Gives an Inch but Takes another Mile’. Can this same criticism be made of developments in gender laws over the last 20 years? This article critically assesses the way the law, in particular case law, has managed gender to reveal what the ‘revolution does not do’.
