Research Significance: Significant individual contribution as solo performer of a World Premiere Recording, on a prestigious International Label (Kairos) which is one of the most important publishers of New Music. It is important to disseminate to an international audience this astonishing new solo violin work by a rising star of the New Music Scene, American composer Evan Johnson. Recording was favourably reviewed by Gramophone Magazine and also hailed by leading music critic Paul Griffiths as "Superb"
