Sridhar Venkatapuram argues that ‘One of the reasons for getting theories of justice right, or to overthrow theories that are dominant and yet wrong, is that these theories have the power to exacerbate or alleviate the suffering of human beings’ (p. 14). In this book, Venkatapuram elegantly and ambitiously articulates a new theory of health justice, which directly engages with alleviating the daily suffering of those who endure health injustice.
