The Professional Standards for Educators (The Standards) were developed by the Queensland Children’s Activity Network (QCAN), who are the peak representative body for SAC in the state of Queensland. QCAN developed The Standards to try and capture what professional practice looked like for SAC practitioners at 4 different stages of their career, commencing with ‘Foundation’ for new practitioners and culminating with ‘Lead’ for service leaders.
