This project evaluated the administrative and academic processes used by the health service management work integrated learning team. We wanted to understand the level of satisfaction with processes from our health industry partners so critical to the success of our work integrated learning placements. Understanding and measuring the satisfaction, value and benefits to health industry partner organisations who host WIL students was a further objective of the study. Using a mixed-methods approach to collect data this study was conducted during 2018/2019 and was supported by a NAFEA grant. The findings from the study will be presented as well as recommendations for replication, validation of the data collection tools and approaches to streamlining administrative procedures that were identified.
