    Abstract
The characteristics of MLM consultants can be understood through the measurement and comparison of demographic factors and psychographic factors within profiles and compared to a general population sample of respondents who are not MLM consultants. Demographic characteristics are the personal and family characteristics of a population. Psychographic characteristics refer to the classification of people according to their attitudes, aspirations, and other psychological criteria. Personality, or the collection of traits that an individual consistently exhibits over time is a key dimension. The characteristics of MLM consultants can be understood through the measurement and comparison of demographic factors and psychographic factors within profiles and compared to a general population sample of respondents who are not MLM consultants.
