    Abstract
Sagittal band injuries, although relatively uncommon, can be difficult to treat. This review provides a contemporary perspective on this pathology, as well as a modification to the classification system. This modification aims to incorporate the spectrum of disease seen, guide treatment, and allow standardization when documenting and describing injuries.Sagittal band injuries, although relatively uncommon, can be difficult to treat.
