A mid our global warming anxiety, recent flooding caused severe damage in many places around the world, such as London, New York, and hundreds of cities in Europe and Asia. In Henan Province, the heart and ancient seat of China, heavy and prolonged precipitation in the capital, Zhengzhou, reached a record maximum rainfall of 201.9 mm/h (7.95 in/h). Hundreds of thousands of people were evacuated, millions were relocated, and the lives of nearly 10 million were disrupted as a result of this unprecedented event.A mid our global warming anxiety, recent flooding caused severe damage in many places around the world, such as London, New York, and hundreds of cities in Europe and Asia.
