dc.description.abstract | This review covers the literature in the past 15 years on glycosidase inhibitors lacking a basic nitrogen (for example iminosugars/azasugars) with a focus on natural terpenoids, and mono- and polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons. From quite diverse structures, insight into inhibitor structural features that may be applicable to optimisation of all glycosidase inhibitors including iminosugars are identified. | |
