In the current issue of the European Respiratory Journal, MURPHY et al. [1] report the effects of managing asthma based on fractional exhaled nitric oxide (FENO) on perinatal outcomes. They conducted a multicentre, parallel, randomised controlled trial (RCT) in six hospital antenatal clinics in Australia.
