    Abstract
In this paper I discuss aspects of leadership in relation to co-editing an academic journal. Because I had no formal training in leadership-not unusual for leaders in academia-I gather from memory experiences where I learnt about leadership, and combine these with reference to research by Karl Lewin and others, in a personal analysis of principles and practices which stood me in good stead for the task of editing TEXT.In this paper I discuss aspects of leadership in relation to co-editing an academic journal.
