    Abstract
Visualising Steampunk focuses on the idea of using production design methods, combined with a reworking of the Victorian aesthetic, to develop a quintessential 'look' for Steampunk. Using a movie script as a basis, author Dominique Falla developed production design sketches, digital paintings and props for a hypothetical filmed version. The resulting visual thesis points to an exciting new direction for Steampunk.Visualising Steampunk focuses on the idea of using production design methods, combined with a reworking of the Victorian aesthetic, to develop a quintessential 'look' for Steampunk.
