    Abstract
To satisfy the need of space-saving DC-DC converters, it is useful to integrate planar transformers with passive magnetic parts. This paper compares two different types of high frequency planar integrated magnetic circuits (IMC) and investigates the strengths and weaknesses of a novel horizontal structure versus a vertical structureTo satisfy the need of space-saving DC-DC converters, it is useful to integrate planar transformers with passive magnetic parts.
