The thienyl and pyrrole rings in the molecule of the title compound, C9H7NOS, are not coplanar, their planes forming a dihedral angle of 14.7 (3)the C-C bond linking the rings almost coincides with the line of intersection of the planes of the rings. The molecules in the crystal structure form centrosymmetric dimeric aggregates, held together by means of N-HO hydrogen bonds. The thienyl and pyrrole rings in the molecule of the title compound, C9H7NOS, are not coplanar, their planes forming a dihedral angle of 14.7 (3)the C-C bond linking the rings almost coincides with the line of intersection of the planes of the rings.
