To reduce the threat of Climate change, Governments around the world are beginning to execute measures for reducing greenhouse gas emissions. Due to new Government legislation, clients of large construction projects in the western world are beginning to request information on the greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions that result from the construction of their projects to estimate the carbon footprint prior to construction. The carbon footprint allows the clients of large construction projects who are involved in the greenhouse gas emissions to estimate their subcontracted direct cost for the emission and hence the calculation provides them to have a clear idea of their annual carbon tax prior starting their construction works. The term "Carbon Footprinting" is directly related to the context of climate change, the change of global weather patterns over an extended period of time. Carbon Footprinting is a measure of the exclusive total amount of carbon dioxide emissions that is directly and indirectly caused by an activity or is accumulated the life stages of a construction activity. This paper proposes a method of integration of carbon Footprinting into construction estimates for the purpose of obtaining a preconstruction calculation idea of the amount of GHG emissions resulting from the process of large construction engineering projects. These determine the most effective technique of estimating GHG from resource quantities within 1306 Anisur Rahman et al the construction estimating and tendering procedure. This program is designed as a spread sheet which produces a pre-construction estimation of the total carbon footprint in the tender estimation stages within the Computer Aided Tendering System Software
