CMOS-controlled GaN micropixel light emitting diode arrays have been used to create light patterned electrodes in a miniaturized optoelectronic tweezers device. We present this micro-system's capabilities for manipulating micro-particles including beads and cells.CMOS-controlled GaN micropixel light emitting diode arrays have been used to create light patterned electrodes in a miniaturized optoelectronic tweezers device.
