This will include collating and disseminating examples of best practice to strengthen the capacity for the design and implementation of effective and innovative assessment strategies that will help transform student learning. In addition implementation of good assessment practices will enable us to harness assessment information in creative ways that will allow them to measure performance and evaluate educational programs. Specific goals are to: •develop and disseminate an inventory of best practice assessment resources •work with academics to assist with design, implementation and evaluation of effective and innovative assessment strategies •establish a list of experts who are willing to mentor inexperienced academics •disseminate information regarding: collaborations sought, expertise required •develop guides and examples for assessing the Threshold Learning outcomes
