Five acylphloroglucinols, named callistenones A-E together with six known acylphloroglucinols, triterpenoids, and C-methylflavonoids were isolated from the leaves of Callistemon lanceolatus. Their structures were characterized by spectroscopic methods. Some of the compounds showed very strong antibacterial activity.Five acylphloroglucinols, named callistenones A-E together with six known acylphloroglucinols, triterpenoids, and C-methylflavonoids were isolated from the leaves of Callistemon lanceolatus.
