The Evidence Based Training project is sponsored by IATA and supported by ICAO and IFALPA. The aim is to identify, develop and train the knowledge, skills and attitudes required by pilots to operate safely, effectively and efficiently in an airline environment. An extensive analysis of safety data from a wide range of sources has identified the most relevant threats, errors and undesired aircraft states, as well as their management by crews.
