This work describes a facile fabrication method for forming a titania-based hierarchical macro-meso-porous structure, which was tested for the photocatalytic functions as a platform for decomposing methylene blue in water. The preliminary results have shown that titania with a hierarchical porous structure exhibited appropriate activity in degrading methylene blue and the activity depends on the particle size and porous morphology. This work describes a facile fabrication method for forming a titania-based hierarchical macro-meso-porous structure, which was tested for the photocatalytic functions as a platform for decomposing methylene blue in water.
