The use of online and computer-based approaches in the delivery of psychological interventions has gained momentum in the past 15 years. Cognitive-behavior therapy (CBT) in particular has proved especially amenable to the transformation into online formats and is now known as computerized CBT (cCBT). Child and adolescent anxiety disorders have received particular attention and several online programs exist for the treatment of anxiety disorders in youth. This chapter provides an overview of the advantages of cCBT programs for youth anxiety as well as important factors to consider in the development and use of such interventions. It summarizes the existing programs for child and adolescent anxiety disorders, including a description of the program and discussion of published outcome findings. The chapter concludes with a brief case illustration of a young person who participated in the BRAVE-ONLINE program.
