    Abstract
    We will present the preliminary findings of an investigation into the use of video documentation at the nexus between profes- sional artistic practice, research and university teaching. We present the tracking of a series of research and teaching conflu- ences where video materials have been used to document and communicate techniques and understandings. These case stud- ies are unpacked to show hoe the use of video materials supports the nexus between research and teaching and techniques and tips for the efficient production and distribution of these materials is discussed.
