Due to the limited extent of vestibular bone as well as frequent fenestrations or/and buccal dehiscenses, gingival recessions may occur in conjunction with or after orthodontic tooth movement. Plastic periodontal surgery can stop the progression of gingival recession. This case report shows 2 promising methods of how to cope with gingival Miller class 1 and 2 recessions. Today, evidence-based, minimally invasive methods of plastic periodontal surgery are able to repair or regenerate lost structures and improve functional and aesthetic mucogingival conditions.Due to the limited extent of vestibular bone as well as frequent fenestrations or/and buccal dehiscenses, gingival recessions may occur in conjunction with or after orthodontic tooth movement.
