Abstract
This special edition of the journal is on the theme of "Children's perspectives". Papers explore the views of children and young people about the policies, programs and services designed for them and their families. This includes services such as recreation, child protection and out-of-home care, schools, health, and legal services. Papers cover: • how practitioners include the perspectives of children and young people in assessments, interventions and decision-making • strategies for including the voice of children and young people in policy and program design, research and evaluation • child inclusive practice, child aware practice, strategies to encourage children's participation, and mechanisms for children's advocacy.
