Abstract
The COVID-19 pandemic, and the related public health restrictions imposed to curb the transmission of the virus, have had an unprecedented impact on people across the globe (e.g., Krishnamoorthy et al., 2020; Prati & Mancini, 2021). Multiple waves of the pandemic continue for many nations (Reuters, 2022), and there are heightened concerns of multiple and emerging new variants of the virus, while other countries have begun to engage in post-pandemic recovery actions. Despite the disruption and uncertainty, understanding of and intervening on human behaviour has had an important role in nearly all aspects of the COVID-19 pandemic (e.g., Bavel et al., 2020; Betsch, 2020).
