It is always a pleasure to greet the reissue of an invaluable reference source, particularly when the library's nigh on 20-year-old copies threaten to disintegrate when opened. That, of course, is a sign of how much a book is used and valued, and there can have been few more useful and important books on Australian cinema than Pike and Cooper's Australian Film 1900-1977.
