Abstract

The title compound, [(AuCl)2(dppm)] (dppm = Ph2P(CH2)PPh2), has been found to crystallize as a new triclinic polymorph. Unlike the previously reported monoclinic form, there are no aurophilic AuAu interactions between the Au(I) atoms.
