Abstract

In order to do further study on the influence of different road alignments and vehicle working conditions to cargo lashing force, firstly we built the model of typical combination vehicles, road alignments and vehicle working conditions with TruckSim, and the model of cargo lashing with ADAMS in this paper. Then we analyzed the acceleration changes of vehicle different axles (x, y, z) when vehicle running in the lemniscate road and rubber bump with normal speed. The acceleration of vehicle will be used as input value to ADAMS. After analyzing the stability of cargo, the results show that the lashing force calculated according to the 'European best practice guidelines on cargo lashing for road transport' can meet the security requirement of cargo's road transport.
