Abstract

The dead time in a complex industrial system is a critical problem to address in process control. The recompense of the negative effects of delay time has been the subject of several studies throughout the history of the control systems. The comparison between the PID controllers designed will enable to determine the influence of the different parameters of the PID correctors on the delay time and also on the other characteristics of the system. Dead time compensation technique is applied to pay off the undesirable effects of delay on the controllers designed for process model.
