Abstract

Throughout successive generations, popular culture exudes references to various aspects of industrial relations. This paper uses a modern incarnation of popular culture, the animated (The) Simpsons, to speculate on the future of Australian industrial relations. There is substantial evidence to suggest that the industrial relations system of Australia is becoming more like that of the USA.
